Educational Toolkits for Tweens, Teens & Young Adults

Age-appropriate resources to help young people understand responsible medicine use and the dangers of medicine abuse.

Educational Toolkits for Tweens, Teens & Young Adults

Research shows that kids start to self-medicate as early as age 11. It is important to take advantage of opportunities to increase children’s knowledge about responsible medicine use. Additionally, more teens and college students are abusing prescription medicine than ever before. Survey findings from the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids show that “one in four teens has misused or abused a prescription drug” at least once in their lifetime. The educational toolkits below were specifically designed to educate tweens, teens and college students about safe medicine use topics. Share them with your children and family, with your schools and youth groups and communities. The better kids are informed today, the smarter and more responsible choices they can make tomorrow.
